The cottage is part of the Villa Rina estate but is completely independent with its own entrance, utilities, and locks. It offers a romantic retreat with a queen bedroom, a cozy living room warmed by a fireplace (with a comfortable sofa bed for two additional guests), a fully-equipped kitchen with wooden dining furniture, and a marble bathroom. Every space enjoys beautiful views of the lake and the bay. The private entrance leads through a small garden path.

The cottage sits on the same 10,000 m² estate as Villa Rina but is fully independent. A walkway from street-level parking separates into two paths for the separate houses. If both are occupied, guests only cross paths around the BBQ area.
A steep walkway leads from the parking to the cottage, which may not be suitable for people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. The private entrance is accessed via a garden path.

Check-in is conducted in person by your host Marco — please let us know your expected arrival time in advance. A €50 fee applies for check-in or checkout outside the standard hours. A refundable security deposit of €100 is required for larger groups and will be collected at check-in. Valid ID or passport required for all guests to comply with Italian registration laws.
Exterior security cameras on property. Nearby lake. Carbon monoxide alarm and smoke alarm installed. Fireplace is only decorative - please do not light it.

Porto Ceresio is easily reachable by car and public transport, including train and bus. Milano Malpensa Airport is approximately 43 km away (~45 minutes by car). The village is about 50 km from Milan and 11 km from Varese.

Carry ID/passport for Switzerland. Lock your phone to an Italian network to avoid Swiss roaming charges.
Individual heating in every room. CO detectors and fire extinguishers. Bedding, towels, toiletries and a washing machine are all provided for your convenience.
